Is it practical to get an Fine Arts Degree?
I really love art and designing things, but is it practical to get a degree in it? What types of jobs could you really get with a bachelor in Fine Arts?
My daughter graduated in May with a Fine Arts degree. She got a job. Not in an area of Art but the degree helped her get the job. I will tell you what I told her. You have to follow your heart. Get the degree you are interested in and forget about the rest. Jobs will come along. My daughter is very talented and has some beautiful pieces that she has created. She has a small side business where she prints invitations for any occasion on a small but very old printing press. They are gorgeous and very unique. Go for it and get that Fne Arts degree.
