ABOUT US
Art Openings Atlanta is a social group for those interested in meeting young art enthusiasts in their 20s - 40s, who enjoy Atlanta's cultural and visual art scene. We want to provide an audience for local artists, and expose the public to artwork they may not have experienced previously. Our organizers plan social events around art openings, group art shows, art museum openings and open artist studios. Support the arts! Join us.

NO SHOW POLICY
Our organizers work hard to produce events that our members will enjoy. All we ask is that if you RSVP "yes" and are unable to attend, that you either: a) notify the organizer/event host or b) update your RSVP. Members who repeatedly no show without notification will be removed from Art Openings ATL. Please be courteous!

MEETUPS vs CALENDAR NOTES
Meetup.com has not provided us with the ability to effectively distinguish scheduled group events (Meetups) from Calendar Notes (Art events on the calendar that are not scheduled group events, but events we thought you would like to know about regardless). On the main page, note that "Upcoming Meetups" means both scheduled group events & calendar listings. You can RSVP for an actual Meetup, not for a Calendar Note.

INCOMPLETE PROFILES/PHOTOS
We periodically delete members without Art Openings ATL photos/profiles. Please ensure that you have a complete profile and a photo or image of some kind. Thanks.
